“My educational journey began with a certificate and AAS degree in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counseling. Recognizing the intersection between behavioral healthcare and the criminal justice system, I pursued and earned a BA in Criminal Justice with a focus on Correctional Program Support Services. My passion for social work and advocacy ultimately led me to obtain a Master of Social Work (MSW), further strengthening my ability to support underserved populations. Since beginning my career in 2005, I have worked with a wide range of populations, including women and children, individuals on parole and probation, Medi-Cal recipients, private pay clients, veterans, and people experiencing homelessness. My areas of expertise include substance abuse, dual diagnosis, mental health, child protective services, and criminal justice reform. I hold multiple certifications, degrees, and credentials, including ASCW and CADC II. Beyond my qualifications, I am known for my deep empathy, advocacy, and ability to connect with those often seen as underdogs. I believe in guiding individuals through their most difficult challenges with compassion and respect, showing them that a better way of life is always possible.”
