We Built the Program We Wish We Had Found
Rebound started because the people who run it have sat in the chair you are sitting in. They know what it feels like to want your life back and not know if it is possible. They also know what it feels like when a program treats you like a number, hands you a schedule, and sends you on your way. That is not what we wanted to build, so we did not build it.
We are an Orange County program, and we mean that. We are at the local meetings. We show up to community events. When you finish with us, you are not leaving town, you are staying in the same community where you got well, surrounded by the same people who helped you get there.
We Do Not Just Help People Stop. We Help Them Build
Stopping the drinking or the using is the first thing, but it was never the point. The point is a life you actually want to keep. That is the difference between white-knuckling through sobriety and building something that lasts. Everything we do, from the clinical work to the supportive living to the way we bring couples and families into it, is aimed at that one thing.
